Hey! Thanks for visiting my blog. I am so excited that you’re here.
My name is Val, and I am a 30+ married mom of 2 amazing kids. For the past 15 years, I have been wavering back and forth about creating a blog. But at the time I didn’t feel I had anything useful to tell the world. Rather than just blog to self-aggrandize, I waited.
Since then, I have experienced so much that I want to share. I have struggled through depression and come out on top, even though sometimes it takes me longer to do so than other times.
I have faced career identify crises that have driven me to become a stronger and more independent version of myself, even leading me to launch my own business (something I would have never imagined I would have the confidence or the know-how to do).
I have been slapped with the harsh realities of parenting, trying my best to help navigate my family through challenges due to both of my kids’ developmental delays and health worries.
And I have even had rude awakenings in my relationships with friends and family, including challenges that could have severed my marriage.
There have been so many lessons learned through it all. Lessons on love, resilience, faith, and hope that I want to share with you.
These are lessons that I wish someone had shared with me before. And maybe they will help you gain some clarity and direction in your own path in life.
If you can relate, I hope you’ll walk together with me on this journey.
